" Good selection but long waits to find experts "

Good selection. Hard to get a hold of in-store experts these days. Used to feel like it was easy to find someone, but not it seems like it takes twice as long to get consultation which was my favorite part of visiting Home Depot.

" Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me "

"Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me" so you got me this time but believe me, I will not spend another dime in any of your stores. Spent over $2k in fencing material and went to return 4 unopened brackets and one unopened set of railing left over from project. Total return would have only been $130. Was told by manager of Exeter PA store tonite that "Our return policy changed in Nov (23) to a "NO return policy"and that this is a HD CORPORATE policy change. When I then asked for District Managers name I was told "We don't know his name".

I spend entirely too much money and work too hard for that money to be bothered with company changes like this for no unnecessary reason. My wallet in my future purchases will state my views. Hope that $130 was worth it to their bottom line later when I take my money elsewhere.

" The fulfillment process is a scam "

The fulfillment process is a scam. I placed an order online, check availability, and then purchase the items plus delivery. BEFORE I completed the order, the system indicated my items would all be delivered on the same day. Then, the day before the delivery is due, I get an email that some items have not been scheduled for delivery yet.

So I called the phone number provided in the email to cancel the items that aren't scheduled for delivery yet, only to be told that I have to talk to the manager at the store from where the store system decided to fulfill the order. The guy on the phone happily tells me: "Let me transfer you to the store manager's phone number!" I declined. I've been through this before.

Now, although I placed my order ONLINE, to avoid needing to go a store - not the one I normally shop at by the way - I now have to go the store just to get my money back. I provided my money online, and there was no problem receiving it online and not at a store. It's a horrible Deja Vu. But I learned this time. When I do go to speak with the manager, I will be video recording the interaction so I have evidence of just how much The Home Depot's fulfillment process and customer service SUCKS!
